“Movement is a medicine for creating change in a person’s physical, emotional and mental
states.” ~Carol Welch
Movement is an integral part of life and health. Our physical bodies require movement to course the blood in our veins. Our ethereal bodies require movement to cultivate and harness energy. Exercise can come in different forms and building strength, flexibility, and balance doesn’t always have to mean high-intensity workouts. For some people, yoga, resistance training such as Pilates or lifting weights, forest bathing, Tai Ji or simply walking 30 minutes a day outside may be the better option.
